I have installed My slip ons and am happy with the look and sound but on deceleration it has a popping sound that is irritating. Any help appreciated. Bike is new so I don't wanna do anything to void warranty.

You basically already voided the warranty.....and will have to void it more to fix the popping really. You now need a Power Commander to tune it properly. The marble trick works, but sometimes not enough.

If something happens slip stock pipes back on and nobody will be any the wiser. The marble trick is good as nothing is permanently altered.

You are going to be thrown in all kinds of modding moves to mess the bike up, so you better not open the xmas present until that [warranty] day arrives [and ends].

Like the Kawi tech really knows more than we do.......

I will live with it this summer. Kawasaki Canada said no warranty problems with slip ons. They will come off this winter in favor of a turbo setup, I miss my turbo. May try the marble trick though.

I used the two brothers db1 sound tips. Helped with decel pop. Also did pair block off. Also got rid of that boom boom drone at highway cruzing speeds. Actually helped mid range a bit. Supper street bike did a write up on them a while back on there long term bike
